Mission Statement
The mission of the University of Missouri-St. Louis Police Department is to work cooperatively with the University community and within the framework of the Constitution to enforce the laws, preserve the peace and provide a safe environment for our campus. The University of Missouri-St. Louis Police Department is committed to professional management and to providing our services in a manner that is responsive to community concerns. We pledge to be sensitive to the needs of those we serve.
Statement of Values
The University of Missouri-St. Louis Police Department exists to serve the campus community by protecting life and property, preventing crime, enforcing laws and maintaining order for all people. Central to our mission are the values that guide our work and decisions. These values are the foundation upon which our policies, goals and operations are built. In fulfilling our mission, we need the support of the campus community to provide the quality of service our values commit us to providing.
